A teenage girl who saved her family after being raped by serial sex attacker Joseph McCann says she now lives in "constant fear". The year-old was attacked in her Lancashire home when the year-old, originally from Beswick, broke in and tied up her mother. Following the horrific ordeal she managed to escape by climbing out of a first-floor window and freeing the rest of her family. But, in an interview with the BBC , the youngster said she still lives in fear and struggles to sleep. I constantly feel like my life is in danger, I question situations during the day and feel nervous around people. McCann tricked his way into the family's home after meeting the girl's mother at a bar in Haslingden. It was part of a two-week sex attack rampage in which he targeted 11 women and children across the country, including victims in Lancashire and Greater Manchester. In December , he was handed 33 life sentences after being convicted of 37 offences, including the abduction and sexual assault of a year-old woman from a car park at Morrisons supermarket in Ramsbottom.
